BLACKBURN will be joining in

There has been a church on the site since as far back as AD 596 whose timbers gave way to a stone built building.  This church of St. Mary the Virgin was elevated to cathedral status as recently as 1926 and has played a significant role in the local county and now its wonderful 10 bells will be ringing out for St. George.

CARLISLE Cathedral will ring for Cumbria on 23rd April

The Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity is the second smallest cathedral in the country and one of the oldest established cathedrals dating back to the 12th century.  What it might lack in size it most certainly makes up with its magnificent sound from its 13 wonderful bells that will resonate right throughout the Lake District as it rings out for St. George.
