Now is the time to think of how to make an even bigger impact for next year.  Ringers everywhere send in your thoughts, comments, ideas – no matter how whacky, and all will be considered. Nigel Robinson took up the challenge of the Campaign and opened up his tower, St. Thomas’ in Leicester, and invited the public to ‘look see’ and ‘have a go’ at ringing a bell.  Well what a day, 40 people turned up and 8 have committed to learning. The Campaign contacted BBC Radio Leicester and they too turned up and interviewed Nigel at 10 and then plugged the ring for the rest of the day.  Now that is a ‘success’.  Well done Nigel and his tower.
