It might have the prefix Little but the band from Little Hadham were all heart as they rang out for St. George.  Their church, dedicated to St. Cecelia ( Patron Saint of Musicians), was full of the sound of bells on April 23rd.

Here is the band that rang out from St. Peter’s in Caversham and gave St. George’s Day a great support.  They are: David Sumner, Roger Hopkinson, Julie Champion, Diana McClure, Jane Havelock, Gill Hopkinson and Ann Osborne.  The photo was sent in by Doug Beaumont.

The campaign is thrilled to report that it has received hundreds of e mails of support and reports of ringing from all over the country.  Each one will be answered and each one will receive heartfelt thanks for all their hard work and effort in making this year’s campaign such a success.

The church of Saints Mary and Margaret in the West Midlands near Birmingham took part ringing out for St. George. What a great flag  and here is the happy  band as sent in by William Dargue.

St. Mary’s band in Bitteswell is here having rung their hearts out. Inspite  of the weather and not being able to fly the flag they still had a great time.  This was sent in by their Tower Captain Marion Reid.

The band at St. James the Great all had a wonderful time ringing out for St. George. Here they are: Emily Trimmer, Graham Spry, Peppi Shaw, Jean Brown, and Tower Captain Chris Trimmer.

Rose Nightingale sent this in of her band that rang a most seasonal ‘April Day’.  Rose is instrumental in bringing on and encouraging young ringers.  Here is Thomas Monks aged 12 and how well he did.  The band includes Simon Head, Richard Booth, Ruth Monks, Bob Dealey, and Rose Nightingale.
