This remarkable and influential cathedral and minster is dedicated to St. Peter and has jurisdiction over the whole of the north of the country. Its architecture can boast of being the second largest Gothic cathedral in northern Europe. And here, with its 14 magnificent bells, it will ring out on April 23rd to celebrate St. George, the Patron Saint of England.
