A Concert of HANDBELLS in WORCS for ST.GEORGE on April 23rd

The Handbells of UK have joined the Campaign and there will be events across the country helping to celebrate England’s Day, St. George’s Day on Saturday April 23rd.  One such event will be at HAGLEY in Worcestershire  in St. John’s Church where the Hand Bell Ringers of St. John’s Church and Halesowen will give a concert to celebrate the special day where they will play a selection of traditional and well known music.  They will also give readings from Shakespeare to celebrate Will’s 400th Anniversary. The village is famous for its Hagley Hall and for the importance in being the oldest parish registry in the country dating from 1538.
