The Rt.Revd. and Rt.Hon. Richard Chartres, Bishop of London has been a keen follower of the Campaign. At the recent baptism of new bells for St. Dunstan-in-the-West he says: “The peculiar English glory of change ringing belongs to the 17th Century. It would be a tragedy if this unique part of English culture were ever to become extinct” They are rung for good and to mark the Christian faith.
